While baking, melt 1 bag of caramels, one stick oleo and 1/2 cup milk together in double boiler or microwave. Pour this over the top of the cake when it comes from the oven.
Grease 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Layer with coconut (frozen is best) and pecans.

Prepare cake by directions on cake mix box and bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Poke holes in warm cake with wooden spoon handle. Pour 3/4 can Eagle Brand milk over cake.
Drizzle hot fudge topping that has been warmed in microwave over cake. Refrigerate. Top with creamy Cool Whip and Skor or Heath bits.
