In large bowl add peaches with juice, brown sugar, vanilla and

raisins in hot water and drain.
Cream shortening with sugar,
then
add
beaten
eggs
and milk.\tCombine with oatmeal and
raisins; mix well.
Add flour, sifted with soda, salt\tand cinnamon.
Beat thoroughly.
Drop onto greased pans and bake about 12 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.\tMakes about 3 dozen medium-sized cookies.
Blend shortening with brown sugar.
Sift flour and soda; mix with oatmeal.
Blend dry mixture and vanilla into brown sugar and shortening, working into dough with hands.
Press 1/2 of mixture in the bottom of a well-greased pan.
Add filling, then other half of dough on top.
Cover raisins with boiling water and cook 5 minutes.
Drain, reserving 6 tablespoons juice.
Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs and beat until smooth.
Sift flour with salt, soda and spices.
Mix with oatmeal and add to first mixture alternately with raisin liquid.
Add raisins and nut meats.
Drop on greased baking sheet at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen.
Mix oatmeal and peanut butter; set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients; boil 3 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Mix with oatmeal and peanut butter mixture.
Drop onto greased waxed paper with spoon; let cool until hardened.
Remove and store.
Yields 3 dozen.
Season trout with lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Dip in flour, then egg.
Press lightly in oatmeal flakes.
Put in hot pan with melted butter and fry about 5 minutes per side. Garnish with lemon slices and pour melted butter over trout.
Combine oatmeal and boiling water and let stand 20 minutes - no longer. Cream butter or margarine with both sugars.
Mix with oatmeal mixture.
Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition.
Stir the soda, salt, cinnamon and flour together.
Add to oatmeal mixture.

Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes in 9 x 13 greased and floured pan.
Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. Mix yogurt with oatmeal; let stand 1 hour. Cream margarine with sugar. Beat in egg and oatmeal mixture. Combine dry ingredients; add to oatmeal mixture.
Stir in raisins. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
