Divide crowns in half so you have a flat side. Blanch for 3 minutes in boiling water. Drain. Dry off as much as possible so olive oil will stick. Coat in olive oil and salt and pepper. Then place the flat side down and char it over open flame. Flip and dust with olive oil from pan again. Place broccoli flower side down (standing upside down basically). Then flip and grill remaining side. Cover grill for 5 minutes.
Remove from grill. In pan, while still hot, squeeze lemon and lightly coat with fresh parm and garlic salt.
Rinse off broccoli rabe; drain well.
Steam broccoli rabe in a covered pot or microwave on High for about 5 to 8 minutes.
Cover the bottom of a deep sided frypan or Dutch oven with about 1/8 inch of olive oil.
Cut garlic cloves into slivers.

Place broccoli in 9x13 dish.
In saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter.
Add flour, oxo and salt; stir to form a smooth paste.
Gradually add milk, stirring constantly; bring to a boil.
Cook and stir 2 minutes.
Add cream cheese; stir until melted (if mixture seems too thick, add a small amount of hot, melted butter to thin).
Add onions.
Pour over broccoli.
Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Cook broccoli according to directions.
Saute the almonds in 1 tablespoon butter. Set aside.
In a large skillet saute onions and mushrooms in remaining butter.
