No Fat French Toast(Good Morning Texas, 1995)

Beat slightly egg whites and add milk and all the other ingredients.
Soak bread in milk mixture for 5 to 10 minutes.
Put into frypan that has been sprayed with fat-free vegetable spray. Cook until \"toasted\". Top with blackberry topping or apricot/prune topping, or use syrup if you really have to.

Texas Toast Steak Sandwiches

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and chipotle pepper. Heat Texas toast on a foil-lined baking sheet according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet coated with cooking spray, cook beef in batches over medium heat until no longer pink.
Layer warmed Texas toast with spinach, steaks, mayonnaise mixture, cheese and tomato. Broil 3-4 inches from heat for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Good Morning Rolls

You can use your own frozen yeast dough. Arrange rolls in a greased fluted tube pan (bundt pan) or use a normal baking pan.
Sprinkle dry pudding mix over rolls.
Cook butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts over low heat until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles. Pour this mixture over the rolls.
Cover tightly with foil and stand on countertop overnight.
Next morning bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Let stand 5 minute Invert carefully on serving dish.

Texas Caviar (Okie Style)

Combine all ingredients.
Refridgerate an hour or so to let the flavors meld.
Serve with tortilla chips. The recipe makes a LOT so have a good-sized container on hand to keep it in (or 1/2 the recipe), but if you bring it to a party to serve in a chip and dip tray it will go fast so it's good to have plenty on hand to replenish -- .

Add flour, corn meal and milk; mix well.
Add onion, cheese and Texas Pete; stir in well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden brown.

Texas Barbecue

Place brisket in large glass baking dish.
Sprinkle meat with tenderizer.
Combine all remaining ingredients except Barbecue Sauce and rub on meat.
Cover and refrigerate the brisket overnight.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours, covered.
Add water if liquid is needed.
Pour Texas Barbecue Sauce over brisket and cook 1 hour longer.
Let stand for 15 minutes, then slice thinly across the grain.

Mozzarella & Monterey Jack Texas Toast

Preheat broiler.
Mix olive oil and garlic in a small bowl and brush the top of each piece of Texas Toast.
Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
Broil olive oil coated toast until lightly toasted.
Spread thinly with the cheese mixture and place under broiler until cheese is melted.
Sprinkle with very finely grated parmsan as soon as it is out of the oven (optional).
Serve immediately.
