Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl, combine liquids in another. Add liquids to dry ingredients all at once. Stir until just moistened. Lightly grease skillet or griddle. Heat till hot. Pour 1/4 c batter on skillet. Cook on one side until tops are bubbly and set. Flip and cook other side until nicely browned. You can add fresh or frozen blueberries to the batter just before cooking. Do not thaw frozen berries. 8-10 pancakes.
Blend egg and milk together.
Slowly beat in flour.
Fry over medium heat until golden brown.
If you like fruit in pancakes, add 1/2 cup.
Good with blueberries, strawberries or apples.
Mix all ingredients together in one bowl.
Add the melted shortening in last.
Heat griddle, then pour mixture onto griddle. When mix bubbles up, flip with spatula.
When pancakes become a golden brown, remove and top with your favorite syrup.
