I don't have a chocolate chip cookie recipe, other than adding chocolate chips to my Butter/Sugar Cookie recipe.
I have found that the best chocolate chip cookie recipe is on the Nestle chocolate chips package.
Those Toll House cookies can't be beat!

Cream butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix, egg and whipped topping until a dough forms. In a small bowl, stir together the cinnamon and sugar. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and roll the balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on an unprepared cookie sheet about 1 to 2 inches apart.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies will be golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.

Mix first 4 ingredients; stir into sliced peaches.

Beginning with long side
Mix flour and cake mix in extra large bowl with lid.
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add softened yeast to flour and cake mixture. Mix well. Seal lid and place in warm water to help mix rise. Roll dough on very lightly floured surface. Spread with soft butter, sugar and cinnamon. Roll to form rolls and cut in 1 1/4-inch sections.
Place on cookie sheet.
Let rise again.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
Makes 24 to 36 rolls.
Line bottom of an 8-inch square baking dish with wax paper; set aside.
Combine first 6 ingredients in a 2-quart casserole. Stir gently.
Add butter; microwave, uncovered, on High for 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir.
Stir in pecans.
Pour in prepared dish. Refrigerate until firm.

On cookie sheet, separate crescent rolls.
Butter one side of each triangle.
Sprinkle enough cinnamon chips on each triangle to cover.
Roll each triangle at short side.
