Preheat oven to 325*F.
Rub beef chuck roast with Worcestershire sauce on

Brown the chuck roast in the oil on all

Put the chuck roast on top of the soup mix.

Place the potatoes and carrots around the roast and bring up the ends of the foil and seal.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Mix together steak sauce, soup mix and mushroom soup.
Brush over chuck roast.
Wrap in heavy-duty foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours.
Let cool.
Put your chuck roast or steak in a gallon
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Cut away as much fat as possible from roast.
Sprinkle roast with next 3 ingredients and place in crock-pot.
Add water and cook
on low for 8 to 10 hours.
Thicken gravy with flour or cornstarch.

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In large mixing bowl, blend mushroom soup, onion soup packet, tomatoes, spices and water together. Place chuck roast in a covered baking dish. Pour ingredients over the roast. Cut onion into quarters and add to the pan along the sides of the roast. Place lid on pan. Place in oven. Cook for 3 1/2 to 4 hours or until tender.
Sprinkle tenderizer on both sides of chuck roast and let stand 1 hour.
Salt and pepper both sides of roast.
Broil like a steak in oven at about 350\u00b0.
Turn chuck roast in seasoned flour and brown on all sides in small amount of hot oil.
Put the browned roast and vegetables into large roasting pan.
Add the salt, pepper and bay leaf.
Pour the can of beef broth over all and cover tightly.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 for 2 hours, or until meat is tender.

Place chuck roast on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Spread A-1 sauce to cover roast. Spread onion soup mix and mushroom soup over A-1 sauce, covering roast well. Wrap carefully to seal aluminum foil around roast. Bake in pan or baking dish at 350\u00b0 for about 4 hours. Makes wonderful gravy with roast.
