Easy Pot Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
seasoned flour
1 small can beef broth
5 potatoes, cubed
6 to 7 carrots, cubed
4 medium-sized white onions
2 jars whole button mushrooms (drain water off)
approximately 1 tsp. salt
approximately 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
Preparation

Turn chuck roast in seasoned flour and brown on all sides in small amount of hot oil.
Put the browned roast and vegetables into large roasting pan.
Add the salt, pepper and bay leaf.
Pour the can of beef broth over all and cover tightly.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 for 2 hours, or until meat is tender.
