Choose 2 colors of sugar-free gelatin (for example, red and green for Christmas).
Dissolve large box of gelatin in 2 cups boiling water.
Add cold water.

Turn the chilled dough out onto a floured surface and roll out thin. With a pastry wheel, cut strips 3/4 inch wide by 3 inches long.
Cut a gash about 1 inch long in the center of each strip. Twist one end of the strip through the slit. It will look kind of like a knot.
Fry in deep oil at 375F until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Crullers are a Christmas delicacy served with jam as dessert or at coffeetime.
Crush Ritz crackers and mix with sugar.
Melt margarine and pour over crackers and sugar mix.
Mix and pat into 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Mix pudding with evaporated milk (follow box directions).
Spread pudding mix over crumb crust.
Cover with Cool Whip and sprinkle crumbled Heath bars over top.
Refrigerate and serve in squares.

This is another really old menu.
My aunt, who later became head chef at the Memorial Union at the University of Wisconsin, gave me the salad and dessert recipes way back in the forties.
Cream butter; add sugar gradually, continuing to cream.
Add egg yolks, orange rind, nutmeg, vanilla, and brandy. Mix well.
Slowly add flour until mixture becomes a workable dough. Roll out and cut with Christmas cookie cutters, brush with egg white and decorate (sprinkles, almonds, nuts, etc.). If you sprinkle with brown sugar before baking they will sparkle!
Bake at 375-400\u00b0F for approximately 10 minutes.
