Season both sides of pork roast with your choice of
Rub meat with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet brown roast in hot oil.
Put in crock pot with garlic, onions and root beer.
Cover.
Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5 hours.

In a medium saucepan combine the rootbeer, chili sauce and garlic.
Bring to a boil, reduce and simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring often.
Reduce to 2 cups.
Add hot sauce.

Remove meat and with 2 forks shred.
Place on toasted bun with condiments and spoon on the sauce.
Place butt in crock pot and pour kraut with juice over butt.
Cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours.
Pour off excess liquid and stir in BBQ sauce.
Serve on buns.
Put 1/2 onions in bottom of crock-pot.
Add meat and ingredients with remaining onions on top. Cover and cook overnight on low heat (about 8 to 12 hours).
Remove bone, onions and fat from meat.
Pour off liquid from the night cooking.
Cut up pork butt into small pieces.
Add large chopped onion and 16 ounces barbecue sauce.
Cover and cook 1 to 3 hours on high or 4 to 8 hours on low. Stir 2 or 3 times during cooking.
Place the cut apple and potato on the bottom of the crock pot.
Pour in the apple juice.
Add pork.
Cover with the Kraut.
Sprinkle in the Caraway seeds.
Smear mustard on top.
Cook on low 5 hours.
Pork -- In a large saute pan
Layer 1/2 of the sauerkraut, 1/2 of the onion slices, sprinkle 1/2 of the caraway seeds and 1/2 of the apples on the bottom of the crock pot.
Brown (optional) the roast on top of the stove and place on top.
Layer the remaining ingredients (including the juice from sauerkraut).
Wash and pierce potatoes once and arrange around the roast.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Serve with rolls and a salad.
The apricot flavoring makes the carrots more like a dessert than a vegetable.
Combine all ingredients except potatoes into crock pot. Set on high and cook for 4 hours. Add potatoes and cook for an hour more. You can shred the pork in the crock pot. I pull the pork out and cut into chunks and add it back into the adobo.

Cook 9-10 Hours.
