If using fresh corn blanch for 5 minutes
Heat 1 tbsp of the oil in a large saucepan on medium heat. Cook the corn kernels for 3 mins, stirring, until tender. Remove.
Heat the remaining 3 tbsp in same pan on low heat. Add the onions, cardamom, cinnamon stick, garlic and chili pepper. Cook for 15 mins, stirring occasionally, until tender and caramelized.
Stir in the turmeric, mushrooms, corn and 1/2 cup water. Cook on medium heat for 5-7 mins, until the mushrooms are tender. Season. Add the cilantro and lemon juice. Toss to combine and serve.
Mash potatoes.
Put in butter, pineapple, cinnamon and 1 cup marshmallows; stir together.
Bake for 1/2 hour at 300\u00b0, then put 1 cup marshmallows on top for the remaining 15 minutes.
Should be golden brown.
I usually double for Thanksgiving.
In a large saucepan, heat butter over medium heat. Saute leek and celery for 3-4 mins, until tender. Add flour and cook, stirring, for 1 min. Gradually whisk in 2 cups water, milk and bouillon cubes. Add potatoes. Simmer for 10 mins, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender. Season. Add corn. Cook for 1-2 mins, until heated through.
Fold in trout just before serving. Garnish with celery leaves.
Mix

ingredients.
Pour into casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0
for
1
hour
and 15 minutes until top is golden brown. May
1/2 recipe for smaller casserole. Drain corn well for best results.
Combine sugar and corn syrup and cook until boiling.
Stir as it cooks.
Remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter and Rice Krispies.
Press into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
Combine chocolate and butterscotch chips and melt.
Spread over top.
Great recipe for kids to help with.
Melt butter and stir in flour and sugar.
Add beaten eggs and corn mixture.
Mix all together.
Salt and pepper.
Put in 13 x 9-inch baking dish or round pie pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
You can remove from oven after 45 minutes and add grated Colby and Cheddar cheese on top.
Return to oven and cook until cheese is melted.
May double recipe for large group.
Makes a 9 x 13-inch dish.
