Arja'S Sweet Potato Christmas Casserole(Finnish)

Boil potatoes in water with skins on.
Peel while hot and mash until fine.
Add flour and mix.
Let sit in warm place for a minimum of 2 hours (mixture becomes sweet).
Add milk, butter and salt.
Pour mixture into a large buttered casserole dish or 2 medium ones.
Leave room to rise.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 to 3 hours. Serve warm.
Serves 4 to 6.
