Preheat oven to 450.
Cut cold butter into Bisquick, then mix in dried onion. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.
Combine melted butter and garlic powder in a small bowl.
Drop biscuits evenly on a cookie sheet (I use Silpat, if Bisquick biscuits usually need a butter sheet then do so) and bake for 10 minute.
Brush garlic butter on biscuits when they come out of the oven and serve warm.
Melt margarine in saucepan.
Add flour and salt; blend until smooth.
Add chicken broth.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Then add sour cream, cayenne pepper sauce and chicken. Stir and simmer over low heat.
Make Bisquick biscuits and put around hot mixture.
Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Cover, simmer over low heat 15 to 20 minutes.
Combine Bisquick and 1/4 teaspoon of the garlic powder; mix in cheese.
Add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Roll dough on floured surface to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with a 1 1/2-inch cutter.
Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Combine melted butter and the remaining 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder; brush on top of biscuits.
Bake for 10 minutes. Makes 12 biscuits.

With ice cream scoop, drop dough onto ungreased pan.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until brown.
