Blue Cheese Pear Chicken

Place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
Pour chicken stock and wine on top of filets.
Top with sliced pears and dot with 2 tablespoons of butter.
Cook on low heat for 4-5 hour or until the chicken slides off a knife.
When done, stir in the whipping cream and blue cheese simmer until cheese melts.
Add salt and pepper to taste.

Blue Cheese Cake

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Butter an 8 inch spring form pan. Sprinkle cracker crumbs on bottom and sides.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, blue cheese, eggs, flour, salt, picante sauce and sour cream. Slowly stir in the onions. Pour the mixture into the pan. Sprinkle the walnuts on top.
Bake in the preheated oven 1 hour. Chill overnight. Serve at room temperature on crackers.

Beef Salad With Blue Cheese Dressing

To make the blue cheese dressing, combine buttermilk, mayonnaise, mustard and blue cheese in a small bowl and season to taste.

Iceberg Wedge Blue Cheese Bacon & Tomato Salad

To make the dressing, combine mayonnaise, sour cream and buttermilk, mixing well.
Add remaining ingredients mixing thoroughly.
Must refrigerate for 24 hours before serving for best flavor.
For the salad assembly, divide iceberg lettuce head into four equal sections, cutting down towards the stem.
Place on plates, topping liberally with the blue cheese dressing, crumbled bacon, chopped tomato and crumbled blue cheese.
Serve nice and cold, adding salt and pepper to taste.

One variation I like is to drizzle Recipe #481797 on top and then place a slice of mango on top.
