ASSEMBLING THE SANDWICH: Slice the Cuban loaves in half horizontally
Slice bread down middle lengthwise. Layer ingredients to cover bottom half of bread in the following order: ham, pork, salami, cheese, and pickles. Spread mustard on top half of bread. cover bottom half and slice sandwich diagonally. Sandwich may be heated in oven or served at room temperature. If Cuban bread is not available, you may use French bread (baguette type) or Italian bread.
Cut bread into quarters, about a foot long each.
Slice open lengthwise and place ham, pork and salami in layers along one-half of the sliced loaf.
Spread Swiss cheese along length of sandwich and add pickle slices.
Add lettuce and tomato slices.
Spread both sides of loaf with mustard and mayonnaise to taste, and close sandwich.
Warm for a minute or two to toast the outside of the bread nice and toasty.
This is easily done on a grill with a lid.
Spread mustard on both slices of Sandwich Thins.
Add 2 slices of ham, then cheese, then pickle slices.
Top with remaining sandwich thin.
Place in a sandwich press. Or, place in a hot skillet and press down on the sandwich with a heavy bottomed saucepan. Once sandwich is heated through, about 3 to 5 minutes, remove from heat.
Split bread lengthwise.
Butter one side.
Spread mustard on other side.
Put a layer of ham, then roast pork, then salami and Swiss cheese.
Put dill pickle slices on top.
Cut sandwich into 4 servings and warm.
Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter.
Slice the baguette in half lengthwise. Spread 1 T. butter evenly on one half of the bread and the mustard on the other. Layer the ham, roast pork, cheese and pickles on the bottom half; close with the top.
Place the sandwich in the skillet and press down with your hands, a spatula or another skillet; cook for about 30 seconds, flip and cook on the other side until golden and the cheese is melted. Slice in half.

Separate the meats and cheeses into 6 portions. Layer bottom half with Ham, Roast Pork, Turkey Breast, and Swiss Cheese.
Top with sliced pickles.
Spread mustard on inside top of cuban roll.
Press down sandwich.
Place on heated grill and smoosh down so sandwich remains even.
Cook until flattened and golden brown.
Makes 6 Cuban Sandwiches.

Remove white papery skin from garlic head (do not peel or separate cloves); drizzle with oil. Wrap 1/2 head in foil. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour; cool 10 minutes. Separate cloves; squeeze to extract garlic pulp. Discard skins. Combine garlic pulp, mustard, and butter in a small bowl; set aside.
