>Barbecue Chicken:
Rinse chicken halves in
Bake chicken (season to taste) in covered dish until tender. Take off cover and pour out excess grease.
Spread barbecue sauce on chicken.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
Turn chicken over and put barbecue sauce on other side.
Bake until barbecue is browned or thickened in 350\u00b0 oven.
Salt and pepper chicken to taste. Coat with flour and place in about 1/4 inch cooking oil. Fry until light browned over medium heat, about 30 to 40 minutes. (Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.) Place chicken on paper towels to drain.
Place chicken in oven pan and cover with barbecue sauce.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes until done.
Mix together thoroughly.
This is enough sauce to use on approximately 4 to 5 pounds of chicken pieces.
Soak pieces in the sauce at least 1 hour.
Brown chicken over hot barbecue coals or in range broiler for about 15 minutes.
Wrap pieces in aluminum foil, adding 2 tablespoons of sauce for each piece.
Let cook over coals or in oven at 450\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes until tender.
Mix and heat all ingredients (except chicken); need not cook. Place pieces of the fryer on waxed paper; salt and pepper.
Dip chicken in sauce.
Place in an oven cooking bag. Pour remaining sauce over chicken.
Close sack tightly. (Place sack in pan in case of breaking.)
Put in a 350\u00b0 oven and bake for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
