Stir hot milk or water into confectioners sugar.
Drizzle on top of cake.
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add the dry ingredients.
Add buttermilk, eggs and banana.
Stir in walnuts.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan or 2 round cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool and frost with Sander Buttercream Frosting.
