Shape into meatballs a little bigger than a golf ball -- for some reason, Italian meatballs are always huge but they taste so great!
Brown in oil or bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until browned then add to a basil - tomato sauce (your own recipe) or mine when I post it.
For a few good variations add: Italian sausage, ribs (mmm).
This is not for the calorie-counting/cholesterol-watching crowd!

Baked Italian Meatballs

Preheat oven to 400 F.
Spray a broiler pan with broiling rack well with nonstick spray (I line the bottom part with foil and then spray).
Combine all ingredients well.
Form into 30 meatballs using a 1 1/2\" diameter scoop (or use your hands).
Set on sprayed broiler rack in prepared pan and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.
Add these meatballs to your favorite sauce and serve over pasta or in a hoagie roll with sauce& cheese to make a great sandwich.

Baked Italian Meatballs

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F
Spray broiler rack with nonstick cooking spray.
In bowl, combine all ingredients well.
With hands, form mixture into 10 meatballs.
Set meatballs on broiler rack and bake 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
Serve over pasta & sauce.

Italian Meatballs In Spinach Cream Sauce

Place frozen meatballs in bottom of round casserole.
Sprinkle frozen spinach on top of meatballs.
Whisk beefstock, sourcream, dill, cumin, lemon juice, salt and cornstarch together in seperate bowl.
Pour over meatballs, cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until done.
Stir halfway through cooking and take off lid to thicken sauce.
Serve over rice or egg noodles.
Add extra sourcream after cooking if you like a stroganoffy sauce.

Spaghetti And Meatballs

Cook onion and garlic in oil until tender, but not brown. Stir in the next 8 ingredients.
Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
Remove bay leaf.
Add Italian meatballs.
Cover loosely; cook for 30 minutes.
Serve over spaghetti.

Baked Italian Meatballs

Place ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs and parsley in a large bowl. Using hands, mix well to combine. Shape mixture into 12 balls. Refrigerate for 15 mins.
Preheat the oven to 425\u00b0F. Heat a large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add meatballs; cook, turning, for 5-6 mins or until browned all over. Place pasta sauce in a small saucepan on medium heat. Bring to a boil. Transfer meatballs in a 6-cup baking dish. Pour sauce over meatballs; sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 15 mins or until melted and bubbly.

Baked Pizza Meatballs With Peppers And Onion

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F. In a bowl, mix the beef, finely chopped onion, breadcrumbs, mustard, mixed herbs and egg. Season with salt and pepper and form into 8 meatballs. Heat the oil and cook, turning, until browned. Remove from pan.
Add the coarsely chopped onion, peppers and garlic to the pan and cook 3 mins. Stir in the tomato paste and vegetable stock and cook 3 more mins. Add to an ovenproof dish and arrange the meatballs on top. Top with the tomato and cheese slices. Bake 20 mins and sprinkle with parsley to serve.

Mary'S Baked Italian Meatballs

In a food processor, mince garlic.
Add onion, and pulse to chop.
Add bread slices, crumbled, and pulse to shred.
Add buttermilk, pulse, and let stand until liquid is absorbed.
Add red pepper flakes, salt, Parmesan cheese, egg, parlsey and pepper, and pulse to mix.
Add ground beef, pulse till thoroughly mixed.
Form into meatballs 1-1/2 to 2 inches in diameter.
They will be soft (it makes about 20 meatballs or so).
Place on a foil-lined 10 x 15 jelly roll pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes.
