Mix all ingredients except bacon.

In a large dutch oven, brown beef over med. heat. Drain fat. Add onion & celery, cook until tender. Stir in soup, tomato paste & ketchup, simmer 15-20 minutes. Spoon into large kettle or roaster. Add all remaining ingredients. Stir well. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 1 hour.

String & cut beans into 2.5cm lengths. Place into a shallow dish with stock, cover & cook on high for 8 minutes or until beans are tender; drain & reserve stock.

Soak navy beans overnight in a large bowl
Soak beans overnight. Change water several times, if possible. Cook beans on stove 1 hour. Drain beans. Divide all ingredients between 2 two-quart baking bowls. Add additional brown sugar if you like sweeter beans. Add catsup and water to cover beans. Bake beans, uncovered, 4 to 6 hours at 350\u00b0. Check each hour to add water and stir beans if necessary (don't allow beans to dry out).
Wash beans and soak overnight.
Rinse beans again and place in a baking dish, covering with water.
Stir in sugar, salt and pepper.
Cut salt pork into 4 pieces and place on top of beans. Bake beans at 350\u00b0
for approximately 4 hours.
Check beans periodically, stirring and adding water as needed.

Pour all of the beans and their liquids into dish.
Add onion.
Add bell pepper.
Add ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire and garlic powder. Stir gently, but thoroughly, until well mixed.
