FOR THE CAKE:
Preheat oven to 350\

Prepare cake mix according to directions on package, or make your favorite cake recipe and pour over mixture in cake pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
Let stand to cool a few minutes, then invert onto a plate.
Cream the butter, shortening, and sugar together beating until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, blending well after each.
Beat in the flour.
Beat in the extracts.
Beat in the 7-Up.
Blend well, DO NOT OVER MIX!
Pour the batter into a well-greased and floured or non-stick pan and bake at 325 degrees F for 60 to 90 minutes.

Remove the cakes
Mix white cake by package instructions and cool completely. Cut each layer in half horizontally, making 4 layers. Make filling by combining sour cream, coconut and sugar. Mix well and pour filling between each layer. Frost cake completely with whipped topping. Reserve a little coconut to sprinkle on top for decoration. Place in a sealed container in refrigerator for several days before serving.
For the cake: allow butter, egg yolks, egg
Use your favorite white cake recipe or use 1 white cake mix and bake according to instructions in 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Let cool 10 to 15 minutes.
Poke holes in the cake with a toothpick, fork tines, etc.
Mix pudding according to directions. Mix cake mix with egg and pudding mix. Pour into 13 x 9 cake pan. Pour butterscotch morsels over cake mixture. Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Crumble one layer of cake into a punch bowl.
Make instant pudding according to directions and put over crumbled cake. Crumble second layer of cake.
Put on top of pudding.
Drain crushed pineapple.
Put pineapple on top of cake.
Put cherry pie filling on top of pineapple.
Top with Cool Whip.
May sprinkle Cool Whip with coconut and chopped nuts, if desired.
Prepare favorite white cake recipe or boxed cake mix and divide batter between 1 (8-inch) square pan and 1 (8-inch) round pan.
Bake according to directions.
Remove cakes from pan and cool.
Use any good cake recipe
to make 4 layers.
Bake 2 plain, then add raisins, nut meats, cinnamon and cloves.
When cool stick with filling.
For the cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place in punch bowl as follows:
one layer of cake, 1/2 pudding, 1/2 cherries, 1/2 fruit cocktail, 1/2 pineapple, coconut, nuts, 1 Cool Whip.
Repeat.
Butter 9 X 13 inch pan on bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides. For bottom layer, bake cake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Let cool.
Prepare batter of a 2 layer yellow cake mix according to package directions.
Pour batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover batter with the chopped rhubarb.
Sprinkle sugar on top. Pour whipping cream over ingredients in pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
The cream and rhubarb will sink to the bottom, forming a lush custard.
Store in refrigerator.
Serve warm or cold.
