When this is ready, line the bottom and sides of a deep dish with a thick layer of vanilla wafer (not crumbled).

This makes about 6 pounds of very creamy and delicious fudge. Stores well.
Brown meat, drain.
Add water to skillet, boil.
Add noodles.
Reduce heat to medium low, cover and simmer for 8 minutes.
Add Velveeta, soup and pepper. Stir until melted.

Brown sausage and onion together. Add Velveeta and green tomatoes with chilies and heat over very low heat until cheese is melted. Stir often. Add chili powder. Serve with crackers.
On a board, place Velveeta between two pieces of waxed paper (cheese needs to be room temperature).
Using rolling pin, roll cheese into a thin rectangular shape.
Spread with sour cream; top with green chillies.
