Cream butter, oil and both sugars.
Add vanilla and beaten eggs.
Sift dry ingredients and stir into sugar mixture.
Blend well.
Roll into small balls and roll them in sugar.
Press down lightly on ungreased cookie sheet with a glass dipped in sugar.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Makes about 8 dozen large or 12 dozen or more small cookies.
These are very good for special occasions.
