Combine 1/2 cup water, turmeric, and pepper in a small saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, 7 to 9 minutes. Stir in 1 teaspoon water. Continue cooking until thickened into a paste, 7 to 9 minutes. Cool completely, 15 to 20 minutes. Pour into an airtight glass jar.
Whisk 1 teaspoon turmeric paste, almond milk, coconut oil, ginger, and cinnamon together in a saucepan. Heat over low heat until hot, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in honey.
Strain milk mixture into 2 mugs.

Mix the tahina paste with cold water in a bowl.
Add salt, cumin seeds, lemon juice, orange juice, pepper and salt.
Mix well and keep aside.
Heat oil in a skillet.
Add garlic and 20gms of onion.
Stir-fry until brown.
Add the tahina mix and keep boiling on low flame until well cooked.
Allow to cool.
When it cools, arrange the grilled fish on the mix and top it with fried onions and pine nuts.
Serve hot.
Combine coconut oil, turmeric root, ginger root, and black pepper in a saucepan; add 1/2 of the water. Cook and stir mixture over medium until small bubbles form around the edges, 1 to 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, stirring continually and adding small amounts of the remaining water, until mixture forms a paste, 5 to 8 minutes.
Transfer paste to a glass container and cool to room temperature. Cover container tightly with a lid and refrigerate.

First take the coriander,cumin,fenugreek,black pepper,mustard seeds and dry fry gently in a frying pan until the mustard seeds start to pop.
Let spices cool.
Grind the unground spices to a fine powder and mix with remaining spices.
This should result in a fine mild curry powder.
For a hotter variety add one tsp of ground chile.
For curry paste.
Roast an onion for one hour at 200\u00b0C.
Let onion cool.
In a blender chop onion finely.
Add remaining ingredients to blender and mix well.
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together very well.
Place a hand full of the mixture a cutting board and roll out or pinch together to the thickness of a bread stick.
If the mixture is too wet just add more quick oats or bread crumbs.
Cut into 2' sections and place on lightly greased baking sheets.
Preheat the oven at 375 and bake for 20 minutes or until there is no pink.
Serve as a side dish with salad and rice or with spaghetti sauce and pasta.
I also use this recipe for hamburgers on the barbecue, it is great!
Heat the oil in a large saucepan and cook the onion and garlic over low heat for 6-7 mins until softened. Add the rice mix and cook, stirring for 1 min. Pour in the wine and simmer for a few mins then gradually add the stock, about 1 ladleful at a time. Allow the liquid to be absorbed by the rice before adding the next ladleful. This will take about 35 mins.
