Mix, using mixer for 2 minutes. Fold in Eagle Brand milk and Cool Whip.
Layer vanilla wafers, bananas and pudding in large bowl.
Refrigerate.

Cream the shortening and the sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time.
Stir in the vanilla, baking powder and salt.
Add the instant banana pudding.
Mix in 2 cups of the flour add the remaining 1/2 cup only if needed.
Cover dough and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Grease baking sheets.
Shape dough into walnut sized balls and place 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
Flatten balls and bake for about 8 minutes or until lightly golden browned.
Prepare dish as you would for vanilla banana pudding. Substitute chocolate for vanilla.

Bake at 425\u00b0 for 5 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.
Serve warm or chilled.
BANANA-WAFER PREPARATION:
Preheat oven
Combine pudding mix, egg yolks and milk
Combine the first 3 items and refrigerate.
Then layer bananas, vanilla wafers, pudding mixture, and repeat.
Can substitute crushed pineapple or be an addition to the recipe.

POUR 3-1/2 cups of the milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. Let stand 5 minutes.
ARRANGE layer of wafers on bottom and up side of 2-quart serving bowl; drizzle with 2 tablespoons of the remaining milk. Add layer of banana slices; top with 1/3 of the pudding. Repeat layers, drizzling wafer layer with remaining milk and ending with pudding. Spread whipped topping over pudding.
REFRIGERATE 3 hours or until ready to serve.
