In the meantime, cook rice according to package instructions. Stir rice into the skillet, sprinkle with cheese and serve.
Slice smoked sausage into pieces.
Brown in skillet.
Brown hash browns in an electric skillet.
Add smoked sausage to hash browns.
Cover the top with cheddar cheese.
When cheese is melted it is done.
Makes 6 - 8 servings.
Great with eggs for breakfast or with a salad for dinner.
Mix the chili sauce, canned crushed pineapple with juice, and the brown sugar together in a large casserole dish (I use the stoneware from my crockpot).
Add the bell pepper pieces and smoked sausage.
Mix everything together.
Bake uncovered at 350 for one hour, stirring occasionally.

Heat a large oven-safe 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Add oil, mushrooms and smoked sausage; cook about 5 minutes until mushrooms are soft and smoked sausage is browned.
Add pepperoni, Italian seasoning and salt and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in cooked pasta and marinara sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella and place under the broiler just until cheese is melted and starting to bubble. Sprinkle with extra Italian seasoning to serve.

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic in oil until soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste and smoked sausage and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the diced tomatoes, broth, tortellini, salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 5 minutes, then stir in spinach and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes. Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Saute sausage for 5 minutes
Mix sauerkraut, apples and thyme in a Dutch oven.
Put the smoked sausage on top.
Poke the sausage several times with a fork.
Pour the apple juice in the Dutch oven. Simmer in covered pan for 1/2 hour.
If there is too much liquid, continue to simmer, uncovered, until the liquid is reduced.
In a dutch oven over medium heat, add oil heat until hot but not smoking.
Add chopped onion and smoked sausage; cook until onion is soft and sausage is browned.
Then add chili seasoning, beans, and tomatoes.
Stir until seasonings are blended well.
And macaroni and water; turn heat down and simmer for 20 minutes or until pasta is al dente (you might need more water to get the pasta to your desired doneness).
