(You may use canned peaches if drained; I like Greer peaches best if fresh are not available.) Sprinkle with lemon juice to keep from darkening.
In bowl, mix flour, sugar and egg with fork.
Mixture will be dry and crumbly. Spread over peaches.
Pour melted butter over top.
Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Recipe may be doubled.
