In a large mixing bowl, combine first 8 ingredients; mix well.
Store in airtight container in a cool dry place. YIELD: 3 cups mix (enough to make 24 batches of ranch salad dressing). For Ranch Salad Dressing: In a bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of mix with mayonnaise and buttermilk.
Refrigerate until serving.
For Thousand Island Dressing: Add chili sauce and pickle relish to 1 cup prepared ranch dressing.
For Cucumber Dressing: Add cucumber and celery seed to 1 cup of prepared ranch salad dressing.
For the herb-yogurt dressing, mix yogurt, sour cream and mayonnaise. Season and add chopped herbs.
For cucumber salad, place cucumber in a bowl, season and sprinkle with sugar. Add lemon juice and oil.
Meanwhile, cook potatoes in boiling salted water for 20 mins. Drain potatoes and arrange on plates with hard-boiled eggs. Drizzle with yogurt dressing, sprinkle with reserved herbs and garnish with basil leaves. Serve with cucumber salad.
Preparation and Serving.
If you want to garnish the glass rim with sugar, wet the outside of the rim with lemon juice. Dip the outside of the rim in sugar, and swirl glass to coat.
For the drink, combine lemon juice, Cointreau, and cognac in a cocktail shaker that is half filled with ice. Shake well for 20 - 30 seconds.
Strain mixture into the cocktail glass. If you don't sugar the rim, you could garnish with a lemon twist or orange slice.

Pink Drink:
Brew Acai tea with
Dissolve jello in hot water.
Add cream cheese, salad dressing, horseradish and salt.
Beat until smooth and add lemon juice. Chill until partially set.
Stir in cucumber and onions.
Put in mold.
Chill.
(Double this recipe for a party.)
Combine all ingredients and chill thoroughly.
Yields about 1 1/2 cups.
Double the recipe for a tea for 40 to 50.
For the Salmon Loaf:
Combine salmon, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, green pepper, egg, lemon juice, celery salt, and pepper; mix well.
Press mixture into an 8x5x3-inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 45--50 minutes, or until done. Remove from oven and let stand 3 minutes.
Remove loaf from pan. Serve with Cucumber-Dill Sauce.
For Cucumber-Dill Sauce:
Combine all ingredients; mix well. Cover sauce, and chill 30 minutes; stir before serving.
For Cucumber Slaw:
Slice cucumbers thin

Heat the oil in a large saucepan and cook the onion and garlic over low heat for 6-7 mins until softened. Add the rice mix and cook, stirring for 1 min. Pour in the wine and simmer for a few mins then gradually add the stock, about 1 ladleful at a time. Allow the liquid to be absorbed by the rice before adding the next ladleful. This will take about 35 mins.
Stir in the butter and Parmesan cheese and season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve in warm, shallow bowls.
