Cook pineapple, butter and 1/3 cup pineapple syrup 5 minutes. Combine cornstarch and remaining 1/3 cup syrup to make thin paste. Gradually stir into pineapple mix.
Add soy sauce, vinegar and non-caloric sweetener.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth.
Add tuna and mushrooms, salt and pepper.
Heat well. Prepare Durand's quick rice.
Place in deep platter.
Top with pineapple mixture.
Serve at once.
Cook beef and taco seasoning in skillet until browned. Pour off fat.
Add soup, water and rice. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 5 minute or until done.
Top with salsa, cheese and lettuce. Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
Note: I have also used this for a tortilla filling, but then you can't say you had nachos for dinner.
Prepare rice ahead of time.
Place cooked rice on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Dot with margarine.
Sprinkle half of the soup mix over rice.
Place chicken breasts on top of rice.
Dot with margarine.
Sprinkle remaining soup mix over chicken.
Pour evaporated milk over all.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Butter 2-quart casserole.
Mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup with 1 cup water.
Place 1 cup quick rice in casserole.
Pour soup mixture over rice.
Sprinkle 1/2 package dry onion soup mix over this.
Wash chicken and pat dry.
Place on top of soup and rice mixture.
Sprinkle with other 1/2 package onion soup mix.
Dot with butter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
Cook quick rice as directed on package in electric frypan.
Put in 1/2 stick butter and melt.
Add onion (cut up), one green pepper (cut small) and one small can mushrooms (cut and drained).
Cook all ingredients until tender.
Then add La Choy sauce, brown gravy and La Choy soy sauce.
Stir quickly and add rice.
Mix well. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes.
Do not make it boil.
br>Bake as normal.
For dinner rolls.
Mix in bread
Heat oil in a lrg saucepan. Add ginger & stir-fry for 1 min until fragrant.
Add rice & cook for 2 min, stirring to coat well.
Add bay leaf, coconut milk, water & soy sauce. Bring to a boil & cook for about 5 min (uncovered & without stirring, until holes form all over the top).
Reduce heat to very low, cover & continue to cook for a further 20 minutes.
Remove from the heat & leave to rest for about 10 min (keep covered).
Uncover, add salt as desired, fluff the rice up w/a fork & serve hot.
Brown meat.
When meat is half done,

Wash rice, cook for 15 minutes.

Bake for 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Add milk to rice (Use formula or breast milk for babies under 12 months).
Simmer for approx 10min stirring occasionally until creamy.
While rice is cooking, peel and core apples, cook with some water in the microwave for about 3min or until soft.
Puree cooked apple in a blender.
Add apple puree, vanilla and cinnamon to rice.
For babies under 8 months puree rice pudding in the blender after cooking, can add more formula (or breast milk) if it is too thick.
Number of servings depends on how much your baby eats!
Put the rice, salt, 3 cups of boiling water, raisins, apples, and nutmeg. in the rice maker.
Tell the rice cooker to 'cook'.
When the rice cooker says it is done or switches to 'warm', stir in the condensed milk, vanilla, and butter.
Tell the rice cooker to 'cook' again.
When it switches to 'warm' again or says it is done cooking, evaluate.
If there is too much liquid in your rice pudding for your preference, you can tell the cooker to 'cook' again.
