Quick And Easy Creole Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 c. chopped cooked chicken or pork
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained), cut into pieces
1 (15 oz.) can Van Camp's New Orleans style red kidney beans (undrained)
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. liquid red pepper sauce
hot cooked rice
Preparation

In 10-inch skillet, saute celery, green pepper and onion in oil until crisp-tender.
Add remaining ingredients except rice. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Serve over rice.
Makes 6 servings.
