In a measuring cup, mix prune juice with 1 tablespoon baking

Easy Prune Cake With Sauce

Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, cloves in a large mixer bowl; mix well.
Add oil, eggs, prunes and beat well.
Stir in pecans. Pour into a greased, floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
Drizzle with Prune Cake Sauce.

Patriotic Cake(Easy, Delicious And Pretty)

Use your favorite white cake recipe or use 1 white cake mix and bake according to instructions in 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Let cool 10 to 15 minutes.
Poke holes in the cake with a toothpick, fork tines, etc.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Melt butter, brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of pineapple juice in a saucepan.
Spray sides and bottom of a cake pan.
Pour brown sugar mixture into it.
Arrange pineapple rings and cherries on top.
Prepare cake mix according to directions on package, or make your favorite cake recipe and pour over mixture in cake pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
Let stand to cool a few minutes, then invert onto a plate.

Heart-Shaped Cake

Prepare favorite white cake recipe or boxed cake mix and divide batter between 1 (8-inch) square pan and 1 (8-inch) round pan.
Bake according to directions.
Remove cakes from pan and cool.

Japanese Fruit Cake

Use any good cake recipe
to make 4 layers.
Bake 2 plain, then add raisins, nut meats, cinnamon and cloves.
When cool stick with filling.

Preheat oven to 350. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat egg whites and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar. Add flour mixture and milk alternately until combined. Don't overbeat.
Fold in beaten egg whites with a rubber spatula. Spread in a well-greased 9x13 inch or larger baking pan. A cake pan with higher sides would be best.
In a separate bowl, combine topping ingredients with a pastry cutter until crumbly. Sprinkle all over the top.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until no longer jiggly. Serve warm. DELICIOUS!

Pioneer Woman'S Pasta Salad With Tomatoes, Zucchini And Feta

Cook bowtie pasta in boiling, salted water until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and rinse. Add olive oil and lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pioneer Woman says DO NOT UNDERSALT! Toss and then add zucchini, tomatoes, parsley and feta cheese. Toss.
Add more of whatever you think it needs. PW says she likes to go heavy on the feta. Squeeze in a little more lemon juice and/or drizzle in a little more olive oil if it looks like it needs more moisture. Cover and refrigerate a few hours before serving.

Pioneer Woman'S Hot Chocolate, Slightly Modified

Warm the milk in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. .
Stir in chocolate chips. Stir until melted (\"though there will still be lovely particles of chocolate throughout,\" the Pioneer Woman's words, not mine.).
If it's too chocolatey for you, splash in a little more milk. If it's not quite sweet enough for you, add 1 teaspoon sugar (I added the sugar).
Serve in mugs, and it should be rich and creamy, and perhaps even better with whipped cream and/or marshmallows.

Devilishly Decadent Pudding Cake(Low Fat)

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Coat 8 inch square baking pan with vegetable cooking spray, set aside.
In mixer bowl beat milk and prune puree to blend thoroughly; add flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons of cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Beat just to blend thoroughly. Spread evenly in pan.
In small bowl,
mix brown sugar and the remaining 1/4 c. cocoa powder.

Cool 15 minutes on rack.

Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
Drain reserving liquid.
Puree prunes in a food processor or blender.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl blend cake mix, eggs and prune liquid and oil.
Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes.
Stir in prune puree and beat for 1 more minute.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.

Saucy Prune Cake

Combine eggs, oil and sugar in large mixer bowl; mix well.
Mix buttermilk and soda in cup.
Sift flour, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves into bowl.
Stir in pecans.
Add flour mixture to egg mixture alternately with buttermilk, mixing well after each addition.
Mix in prunes, prune juice and vanilla.
Spoon into greased tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
Invert onto serving plate.
Pour sauce over cake immediately.
Yield:
16 servings.
