Beth'S Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. lukewarm prune juice (from cooking prunes)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. cooked pitted prunes
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

This is an old recipe from my mother, hence some of the directions are antiquated.
The cake keeps well and is very moist. By its taste, it is hard to realize that the main ingredient is prunes!
