Mary Jo Reeves' Ham And Swiss Party Sandwiches

Blend margarine, mustard, poppy seed, onion and Worcestershire sauce to make a spread.
Cut rolls in half.
Spread margarine mixture on each cut half.
Place small amount of ham and cheese on bottom of each roll.
Cover with top half of roll.
Wrap in foil and place on baking sheet.
Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
Makes 60 appetizer sandwiches.

Party Sandwiches

Brown hamburger and sausage; drain.
Add Velveeta cheese and stir until cheese is melted. Put mixture on slices of party rye bread. Place under broiler of stove on a cookie sheet and heat until lightly browned on top. Serve hot. Note: These may be frozen and browned under the broiler whenever you need them.

Party Sandwiches

Brown meats together and drain fat.
Add Velveeta, stir until melted.

Olive Party Sandwich

Have cream cheese at room temperature. Mix all ingredients well. Use rye bread to make party sandwiches. Cut in finger sandwiches.

Tea Party Sandwiches (Puerto Rican Version)

Place luncheon meat cubes, processed cheese sauce, pimientos, and sandwich spread in a blender; pulse to blend into a smooth mixture, stopping often to scrape down blender sides. Transfer spread to a bowl.
Spread the mixture onto 15 slices of white bread; top each with a slice of whole wheat bread. Press sandwiches together lightly and cut off crusts. Slice sandwiches in half diagonally to make triangles; sprinkle sandwiches with parsley flakes and top each sandwich half with a piece of sliced cucumber.

Miniature Reuben Sandwiches

Butter one side of party rye slice.
Place buttered side down on a cookie sheet.
Spread each slice with Thousand Island dressing.
Cover bread with corned beef.
Spread sauerkraut over corned beef.
Place slice of Swiss cheese over sauerkraut.
Cover with second slice of party rye, Thousand Island side over Swiss cheese.
Stick toothpick into sandwich.
Bake 10 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.

Party Mini Sandwiches

Cook together hamburger, sausage, green pepper and seasonings. Drain.
Add 1 pound Velveeta cheese; heat until melted.
Put between 2 slices party rye bread.
Can be fixed ahead and frozen; then heat in microwave or oven when needed.

Vegetable Party Sandwiches

Dissolve gelatin in water according to directions.
In a large bowl, mix dissolved gelatin with carrots, celery, cucumber, onion, lemon juice and mayonnaise. Refrigerate for 25 hours.
When ready to make sandwiches, if mixture is too jelled to spread well, add 1/3 to 1/2 cup more mayonnaise.
Using an electric knife, trim crusts from bread edges. Spread vegetable mixture on bread and make 28 sandwiches. Cut into quarters.
Layer cut sandwiches in a large plastic container with damp paper towels between layers until serving time.

Party Sandwiches

There are no exact measurements for this recipe.
Use amounts to your own preferences. Cut meat into very small cubes.
Add cream cheese that has been softened to room temperature.
Add green onions, salt and enough mayonnaise to make it into a spreading consistency.
Cut crusts from bread and make sandwiches with the spread.
Cut into shapes.
You may also use cookie cutters to make prettier sandwiches.

Vegetable Sandwiches

Squeeze excess juice from vegetables.
Mix and refrigerate overnight or 1 day before making sandwiches.
Spread each piece of bread with mayonnaise.
Makes 50 to 60 party sandwiches.

Party Rye Pizzas

Brown hamburger and sausage.
Pour off grease.
Add cheese to the meat to melt.
Add spices.
Spread on party rye bread.
Warm in 350\u00b0 oven to serve.
These can be made and frozen for future use.
Freeze them first on cookie sheets, then transfer into bags. Makes 45 to 50 sandwiches.

Party Rye Corned Beef Mini Sandwiches

Mix all except party rye together in blender.
Put on buttered bread.
Heat at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.

Open-Faced Sandwiches

Mix first 3 ingredients together.
Let stand for awhile to blend flavors.
Spread on party rye bread or white bread cut with small round cutter.
Wait until just before serving and put a slice of cucumber on top and sprinkle with paprika for garnish. Party favorite!

Finger Sandwiches

Mix Good Seasons Italian salad dressing and cream cheese.
Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
Spread on rye party rounds. Slice cucumber and put one slice on each party round.
Sprinkle with dill weed.

Party Ham Sandwiches

Beat butter and next 4 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended.
Using an electric knife split party rolls horizontally without seperating; spread butter mixture evenly over bottom halves. Top with ham, cheese, and remaining halves of rolls.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Party Rye Sandwiches

Brown sausage and ground beef.
Chop in skillet till in fine pieces.
Drain.
Add tabasco and Velveeta cheese and mix until melted.
Spread on the small party rye bread.
Bake at 300 degrees until hot, usually 10-15 minutes.
These are easy to prepare in advance.
freeze then, when needed pop them into the oven for impromptu parties.

Miniature Hot Reuben Sandwiches

Cut the corned beef and cheese into pieces to fit on the bread. Lightly butter 1 slice of bread; top with 2 slices of corned beef, 1 slice cheese, 1 teaspoon sauerkraut and 1/4 teaspoon mustard. Top with another slice of bread and bake in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes. Makes about 18 sandwiches.
