Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat.

Remove from heat. Add cereal.
Stir until well coated.
Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan coated with cooking spray, in a layer about 1/2-inch thick.
When slightly cooled, use holiday cookie cutter to cut into shapes.
Decorate as desired with prepared frosting and candies.
Yields 9 (3 1/4-inch) cut-outs.

Skillet Cookies

Melt oleo in heavy skillet; add rest of ingredients, except Rice Krispies and coconut.
Stir constantly over medium heat until thick.
Remove from heat and cool.
Add Rice Krispies; make into small balls and roll in coconut.

Pecan Holiday Treat

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt butter in a 12 x 15-inch pan in oven. Add nuts and dredge in melted butter.
In a separate bowl, combine granulated sugar, salt, vanilla and egg whites.
Dribble mixture over nuts and mix so all nuts are coated.
Put in oven for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to evenly coat nuts.
Remove from oven.
Put powdered sugar in Ziploc bag or large bowl with lid, then add nuts and shake to cover all the nuts.
Remove and spread on cookie sheet to cool.

Holiday Treat Holly Wreaths

Cream the butter and cheese; add sugar and mix well.
Add vanilla.
Add flour and green food coloring; mix well.
Put through cookie press using star plate; form in wreath shape.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool.
Frost with white frosting. Decorate with cinnamon candies.
Makes 2 dozen.

Holiday Rum Loaf (Bread Machine)

Combine according to your manufacturer's directions.
Makes one 1 1/2 pound loaf.
Success Hints: For a real treat, also prepare Rum Bath for dipping (see recipe I posted).
This recipe can be made using regualr and rapid bake cycles.

Filled Rolls(A Small, Rich Party Or Holiday Treat.)

Heat 1/4 cup butter and milk until warm.
Mix 3/4 cup flour, salt and yeast together. add to butter and milk and beat 2 minutes. Add egg and 1/4 cup flour and beat again for 2 minutes with a spoon.
Add 3/4 cup flour and beat well.
Cover bowl and let rise until double in bulk.
Form into a ball on floured pastry cloth. Let rest 15 minutes.
Return dough to bowl.
Add 1/2 cup butter, softened.
Work with hands until well mixed.
Roll out to a thin square.
Cut into 2 1/2-inch squares.

Hungarian Butternut Cookies(A Holiday Treat)

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, salt and egg yolk with electric mixer until smooth. Combine flour with pecans and gradually beat into flour mixture. Wrap in waxed paper, then plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place 1 1/2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes. Immediately place in bowl with powdered sugar and roll around to coat. Makes 4 dozen.

Santa'S Elves Holiday Treat

Combine crumbs and melted butter; press into bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Beat powdered sugar, cream cheese and the 1 cup butter 8 to 10 minutes (makes it fluffy).
Add eggs; beat until fluffy.
Spread over crust and arrange bananas over top; sprinkle with coconut.
Spread dessert topping over all; sprinkle with nuts.
Cover; chill several hours.
Cut into squares.
Garnish each serving with a candy cane and banana slices.
Makes 12 servings.

Cranberry Nut Bread

Melt butter, then cool.
Sift dry ingredients.
Combine egg, orange juice and water; stir in melted butter.
Make a well in the center of dry ingredients; add liquid ingredients all at one time.
Stir only enough to moisten all dry ingredients.
Add nuts, dates, cranberries and orange rind.
Stir just until blended.
(Do not over mix.)
Turn into prepared loaf pan and spread to corners. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 70 minutes.
Remove from oven; cool 10 minutes in pan on cooling rack.
This is a very good holiday treat.

Holiday Delight

In a large bowl, mix first 3 ingredients together.
Blend in Cool Whip gently and thoroughly.
Chill at least 3 or 4 hours before serving.
May also be frozen and served like that.
The pale green color makes it a nice treat for the holidays.

Jam Cake

Cream
butter
and
sugar; add egg yolks.
Add milk and flour alternately.
Mix
well
and fold in beaten egg whites. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
