Cauliflower soup.
Cut cauliflower into small flowerettes. Melt butter

Add cauliflower, broth, and cream. Bring soup to boil. Reduce

Heat large suacepan with butter and add leek and garlic. Cover with lid and cook gently for 5 minutes. Add cauliflower, chicken stock and potato. Bring to the boil and simmer for 25-30 minutes.
In another frypan, add chorizo and cook until brown on all sides. Drain on kitchen paper and set aside to keep warm.
Add cream to soup and blend until smooth using a stick mixer. Check seasoning, divide between 4 bowls using the chorizo as garnish.
Serve with the bread of your choosing.

In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Cook garlic in butter 30 seconds, then stir in nutmeg, pepper and salt and cook 30 seconds more. Pour in the water and introduce the cauliflower. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes, until cauliflower is tender.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook carrot with water to cover until just tender. Drain and reserve.
Puree cauliflower soup in a blender or food processor or with an immersion blender. Stir in reserved carrots, green onion and parsley. Serve.

Combine asparagus and broth in a pan; bring to a boil, uncovered.
Stir to break asparagus apart, then reduce heat and simmer, gently, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Add salt to taste. Cut the cream cheese into 1/2-inch cubes and place in soup tureen. Pour the hot asparagus soup in and serve at once.
If you choose to use sour cream, pour soup into individual bowls.
Add sour cream without stirring.

Combine water, diced potatoes and beef powder in a 3-quart pot.
Simmer until potatoes are very tender.
Mash potatoes but do not drain.
Add pepper, Beau Monde and cumin.
Simmer 10 minutes. Blend flour into Pet milk and stir slowly into soup.
Blend sour cream into soup.
Heat just to boiling.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve at once.
