Five Star Clam Chowder

In an 4 quart pot, melt butter and saute bacon over low heat until cooked, but do not brown.
Add diced onion and celery, and saute until tender and translucent.
Add clam broth, white pepper, worcestershire sauce, tabasco sauce, potatoes and herbs.
Cook approximately 13 minutes to soften potatoes and incorporate flavors.
Add heavy cream and chopped clams. Bring to boil,.
Mix cornstarch and water together and add, stirring briskly.
Salt & pepper to taste.
Enjoy.

Linguini In White Clam Sauce

Heat butter and oil, add garlic and cook slowly until golden.
Drain clams, reserve liquid and add enough bottled clam juice to make 2 Cups.
Stir the liquid into the butter mixture and simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes.
Add chopped clams, parsley, salt and pepper and heat through.
Cook the linguini in boiling water, following package directions.
Pour the sauce over.
Top with parmesan cheese if desired, and enjoy with garlic bread!

Pour soup into 2 quart sauce pan.
Add chopped clams and 2 tablespoons of juice from clams.
Add thyme, salt and pepper.
Stir all together and heat over medium heat until bubbly then let simmer on low for 20 minutes.
Place in individual bowls and sprinkle with crumbled bacon and serve.

Mix together bread crumbs, celery, green pepper and onion. Add lemon juice and clam juice and mix well.
Season with garlic salt, oregano and pepper and mix.
Add this mixture to the chopped clams.
Spoon into cleaned clam shells and top with bacon pieces. Bake at 350\u00b0 until bacon is crisp.
Serve with lemon wedges. Serves 8.

Clams Delmarva

Reserve liquid and chop meat of steamed clams in coarse bits. Add to these chopped canned clams, divide between 24 half shells. Add teaspoon of liquid to each shell, sprinkle bacon and bell pepper on top and top with grated cheese.
Bake in oven at 400\u00b0 for 14 minutes.
Place under broiler and brown.
Serve immediately.

Clams With Linguine

Bring clam juice and wine to boil in saucepot.
Add clams, cover and cook until shells open, 5 to 6 minutes.
Transfer clams to bowl with slotted spoon; cool.
Remove from shells and coarsely chop.
(Discard any unopened clams.)
Add onions, carrots, celery, garlic, thyme and pepper flakes to clam juice.
Simmer over medium heat until vegetables are tender, 25 minutes.
Stir in chopped clams, parsley, oil and salt.
Toss sauce with pasta in serving bowl.
Makes 6 servings.

Baked Clams

Combine the garlic, bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and stir to combine.
Coarsely chop the clams and combine with the lemon juice in a separate bowl.
Place the clam shells on a baking sheet, using a thin bed of rock salt to stabilize them if desired, and divide chopped clams between them.
Top with the bread crumb mixture and drizzle with the butter.
Cook under a preheated broiler until the topping is golden brown and the clams are bubbling, about 2 minutes.

Creamed Clams Over Linguine

Open cans of clams; reserve clams.
Mix clam juice with milk until it makes 2 cups.
Melt margarine in a skillet; add chopped onion and simmer until onion is soft.
Add flour and mix with onion.
Add the milk and clam juice mixture and cook until the sauce is thickened.
Add clams, mushrooms and Mrs. Dash seasoning to taste.
Add parsley before serving over linguine.
Also sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top before serving.

New England Clam Chowder

Cut bacon into small bits; saute, but do not crisp.
Saute chopped onions with bacon, then add celery and saute.
Add juice from clams and water to make 2 cups.
Add chopped potatoes and chopped carrots and cook until tender.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add chopped clams and cook 5 minutes.
Add butter or oleo. Add 2 cans Jake's soup if you need a larger amount.
Just before serving, add cream and milk to desired consistency.

Clam Chowder

Cover bottom of pan with oil.
Saute the onion until tender. Add potatoes; pour water to cover and cook.
Add clam juice, baby clams, minced clams and chopped clams.
When potatoes are cooked, add tomato soup; stir and let simmer.
Do not boil.
This makes a big quantity!

Spaghetti With White Clam Sauce

Heat olive oil in large frying pan.
Add finely chopped onion, green onions, minced garlic cloves and spices to the olive oil. Stir until onion is translucent.
Add sour cream to heated mixture.
Stir well.
When sauce is hot, add grated Mozzarella cheese.
Stir frequently.
Simmer for about 15 minutes.
Add drained chopped clams and continue to stir.
Do not overcook or clams become tough.
Serve over cooked spaghetti.
Will freeze well.
