Place 10\" skillet over low heat. Melt butter and add spices, ingredients 2 thru 4, more chili flakes if you want it hotter. In a food processor or a blender, combine the hominy, creamed corn, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and cayenne.

Mix yellow hominy, white hominy, black-eyed peas, onion, red bell pepper, tomato, and garlic together in a bowl. Stir Italian-style dressing into the mixture. Allow to marinate in refrigerator for 3 hours.

Add (juice included) pinto beans, jalapeno pinto beans, white hominy, yellow hominy, Ro-Tel tomatoes (cut up), 3 cans water, taco seasoning and Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (original mix).

Brown chicken in oil in a pot.
Remove chicken with a slotted spoon and keep warm.
Heat the pot to medium and add onion and garlic and saute till the onion softens.
Add chicken, chicken broth, oregano, salt and chili powder to pot.
Reduce heat to low cover and cook for 90 minutes.
Add hominy cook 15 more minutes.
This is the time to check the seasonings and adjust to taste.
Ladle into soup bowls garnish with onion, cilantro,lime, cheese (get creative).
