For the yellow food dye: Bring
f warm water, the alum, boric acid and borax.
Stir well
In large bowl mix boric acid, flour and shortening.
Add water, small amount at a time, to make soft dough.
Shape in small balls and place around where bugs are.
Boil water.
Dissolve Borax and boric acid.
Rinse your clothing, sheets, etc. in it.
Cream shortening and sugar; mix boric acid, flour and onion. Add to sugar and shortening.
Blend well, then add water to form soft dough balls.
(If balls are placed in opened plastic sandwich bags, the dough will stay softer longer.)
Place balls throughout the house in places normally inhabited by roaches.
When dough becomes brick hard, replace with a fresh batch.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
(I use Roach Away Boric Acid from Wal Mart.)
Use enough water to make a stiff dough.
Make into egg size balls and place around the house where the critters have been seen.
Mix shortening and sugar until creamy.
Combine flour, onion and boric acid.
Add to shortening mixture; blend well.
Add a little water to soften the dough.
Form into small balls.
Place balls throughout the house.
Store in plastic bag.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients.
Mix well and shape in small balls about the size of marbles.
Place these in places where you think roaches may hide:
under large appliances such as dishwasher, stoves, refrigerators, washing machines or dryers, in cabinets, under burners of your stove and any dark, warm spot. Roaches thrive in these breeding places.
Just make sure no children or pets can come in contact with this poison as it is toxic and can make them sick.
Carefully combine all ingredients, saving 1 cup laughter and 1 cinnamon stick.
Use cinnamon stick to gently stir ingredients. After carefully mixing, top with the 1 cup laughter you saved. Recipe serves everyone.

In bowl, in water, stir ascorbic-acid mixture for fruit until dissolved.
