Polly Wilson shared this recipe with me for salmon steak.
(The recipe was given to her by a Danish woman over a Montreal fish counter!)
Put a salmon steak on slightly greased aluminum foil and sprinkle with dill weed. Drop a few drops of water on top to steam.
Seal foil tightly, making a \"tent.\"
Put on top rack of dishwasher and run through 2 dryer cycles and it will be perfectly baked!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine mayo, cheese, and red pepper; set aside. note: I often add a bit more red pepper after a small taste test.
Lay salmon fillets on a foil-lined baking pan. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over each fillet.
Spread each fillet evenly with mayo mixture. Cover mayo with cracker crumbs.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F.
Grate potatoes through the large holes of a box grater into a medium sized bowl.
Stir in horseradish, oil and salt and pepper mixing well.
Pat crust onto top surface of filets and place in a baking pan or on a baking sheet.
Bake until salmon is cooked through and the crust is golden and crispy, about 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350.
Line baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
Combine herbs and crumbs, then mix with melted butter

Season salmon and coat with sesame seeds. Heat a lightly greased non-stick frying pan on medium. Sear for 2-3 mins each side, until seeds are toasted and salmon is cooked.
Mix cilantro into slaw. Divide salad between serving plates and top with salmon and extra cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
Coat salmon cubes with miso paste. Thread 3 cubes onto each bamboo skewer.
Spread the sesame seeds onto a plate. Holding the skewer, dip salmon into sesame seeds on two opposite sides.
