Place the chicken in the crockpot.
Place all remaining ingredients on top of the chicken. Cook on high for 2 1/2 hours (depending upon the size of the chicken.).
After the chicken is done remove it to a cutting board. Remove the chili - unless you like a sauce with a lot of heat.
To make your sauce simply get out your handy-dandy immersion blender and blend the heck out of everything left in the crockpot.
Serve with cauliflower rice and pour your delicious sauce over all.
In crockpot combine all ingredients and cook on low 3 1/2 hours.

Mix and heat everything together in a pot on the stove, or use a Crockpot for convenience.
Add as much spices as you think is necessary. I like my wassail with lots of cinnamon.
You may choose to use ground cloves instead of whole cloves.

Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hr, then on low for 4-8 hours.

Note: I put the allspice and cloves in a teaball.

Boil sugar and water for 10 minutes.
Add spices and fruit rind.
Cover and let stand for 2 hours.
Strain.
Add orange juice, lemon juice and cider.
Reheat and serve.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place halved apples, cut sides down, on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven until apples are tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
Simmer 2 cups apple cider, cloves, allspice, and nutmeg in a large kettle or pot for 10 minutes. Add the remaining apple cider, orange juice concentrate, and lemonade concentrate; stir until wassail is smooth. Mix brown sugar into the wassail; heat until almost boiling. Float baked apple halves and cinnamon sticks in the wassail; serve warm.

Add chicken and make sure all pieces are coated with mixture. Sprinkle top with paprika.
Cover crockpot or casserole. Cook on low setting in crockpot for 6 hours (or you can start with frozen chicken and cook for 8 hours in crockpot) or about 1-1/2 hours in the oven at 375 degrees (deeper casserole dishes take longer than flat ones).
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice or noodles.

Turn your crockpot (aka a slow cooker) on high.
Heat your lard in the microwave until it has melted and add to the crockpot.
Cut your pork shoulder into about 7 pieces and sprinkle with salt.
Place the pork pieces in the crockpot leaving spaces between the meat.

Notes: Brown the cooked meat for a few minutes under the broiler if desired. I have also doubled the meat and the lard and let the meat boil in the lard until tender.
