A very old cookie recipe I got from Myrtle Boyer when she played Mrs. Santa Claus at O.H. Garden Club display.
Remove lid of cookie jar.
Insert hand into jar.
Grab cookie. Remove hand from jar.
Eat cookie.
Repeat instructions.
Mix together the cake mix and the butter until resembling bread crumbs, then press into the base of a greased/oiled and lined cake pan/tin.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350 - keep an eye on this as all ovens vary in temperature, watch it doesn't go too brown.
Remove from the oven, allow to cool and then add your chosen filling and cook or chill as the recipe requires.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cookie dough, flour and extract until smooth. Divide the dough in half and mix the food coloring in to one portion.
Shape 1 teaspoon of each color dough into 6 inch ropes. Place the ropes side by side, press together, and lightly twist.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet; curve into a candy cane shape. Repeat with remaining dough, placing cookies 2 inches apart on the baking sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool for 2 minutes before carefully removing to wire racks.
Make your own favorite oatmeal cookie recipe.
Substitute the liquid in your recipe with crushed pineapple and its juice.
(If your recipe calls for 1 cup water, substitute 1/2 cup crushed pineapple and 1/2 cup pineapple juice.) Bake for the time and temperature called for in your favorite recipe.
Choose your favorite peanut butter cookie recipe. Prepare as directed. Take a piece of dough and wrap it around 1 miniature candy bar. Repeat until dough and candy bars are used up. Place dough balls on cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 9 minutes.
Mix all above ingredients together. Chill several hours before serving. Serve on a lettuce leaf. Very easy.
Use your favorite sugar cookie recipe or Pillsbury slice and bake cookies.
Roll out dough; cut into triangles with one side longer than the other two.
After baking, frost with frosting dyed with food coloring to be light brown.
Before frosting dries, press red hots in place for nose, 2 chocolate chips for eyes and 2 pretzels in place for antlers.
Perfect activity to share with children.
