I make my crust from scratch and cut out pumpkins or leaves with scraps and bake them and put on top of pie when it is cooled.
For Cranberry Butter.
Pour boiling

Bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
Reserve 1 cup cake mix for topping.
Add egg and 1/4 pound oleo and press into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix pumpkin, evaporated milk, 1 cup sugar and eggs (add cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and ginger as for pumpkin pie).
Pour into pan and top with topping of cake mix plus 4 tablespoons oleo, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
