Toss together first 6 ingredients in a large bowl.

Lemon Poppyseed Dressing:
Process 2/3 cup light olive oil and remaining ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 1 week; serve at room temperature.
Whisk all ingredients together and store in refridgerator for at least 2 hours to let flavors meld.
Note: May thin with less milk or to desired consistancy.
I just made this recipe as posted, and thought it was waaay too sweet for my tastes, so I added more mayonnaise to taste and it was delicious.

Spread on top of mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 8.

Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water for 7 minutes.
Add the cabbge (in 1 piece) and cook until the pasta is tender but still firm and the cabbage is bright green, 2-3 minutes longer.
Drain and rinse in cold water.

Cut out the core and cut the cabbage into 1\" pieces.
In a large bowl, toss the pasta and cabbage with the ham, carots and poppyseed dressing.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and toss well.
Place freshly washed spinach on individual plates.

Spread sliced onion on top.
