On a cookie sheet, arrange 5 pecan halves to resemble turtle's 4 feet and head.
Place 1 caramel in center of each turtle. Continue until there are no spare parts.
Place cookie sheet in preheated 325\u00b0 oven until caramels have softened, approximately 5 minutes.
Remove from oven with a buttered spatula or prebuttered fingers.
Place a chocolate kiss on each turtle.
(Chocolate will soften from heat of caramels.)
With a buttered spatula, gently swirl chocolate to cover caramel.
Transfer to waxed paper to cool.
Mix together butter and brown sugar and cook over medium heat in heavy 1-quart saucepan, stirring constantly, until entire surface begins to boil.
