Sift the flour
Pour boiling water over bran; set aside.
Mix together rest of ingredients.
Cream sugar and shortening.

Bake at 375\u00b0 in muffin pan, 20 to 25 minutes.
Will keep in refrigerator in airtight container for 3 months.
Yields 8 dozen medium muffins.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a mixing bowl, mix together the oatmeal muffin mix, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Cut in the butter using a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the peaches, sugar, and lemon juice.
Mix well and spoon mixture into an ungreased 8-inch suare baking pan.
Spoon crumbly mixture over peach mixture.
Bake for 40-50 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
Saute beef and onion in the hot fat in a heavy skillet.
Stir in the consomme, parsley, salt, pepper and A.1. Worcestershire sauce.
Spread the mixture in a casserole of a size that will leave at least an inch of space at the top.

Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0. Serves 5 to 6. Serve with fluffy mashed potatoes and buttered broccoli.

Melt butter and syrup together over medium heat. Then add in the water/baking soda mixture.
Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheets which have been covered with parchment paper.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
