For Maple Short Crust:.
Cream butter.
Melt together chocolate and butterscotch chips.
Add peanut butter.
Stir until smooth.
Pour half of mixture onto a lightly greased 11 x 15-inch jelly roll pan.
(Cool in fridge for 1/2 hour.)
Add peanuts to other half of mixture.
Set aside.
Melt margarine; add evaporated milk.
Stir in pudding and sugar.
Mix with mixer until smooth.
Add maple flavoring.
Spread over first layer.
Cool in fridge for 1 hour.
Cover with remaining chocolate/peanut mixture and chill.
Cut into squares and refrigerate.

To Make Maple Frosting: In a medium bowl

Sift flour, salt and baking powder; add to first mixture.

Slice Canadian bacon about 1/2-inch thick. Arrange the slices in a casserole or baking dish, and spoon the syrup mixture over the slices.
Bake for 30 minutes. Serve hot or at room temperature. (To serve as a snack, cut slices into bite-sized pieces and serve with toothpicks.).

Add egg, maple syrup and soda.
Mix in flour.
Add nuts.
Pour into an 8 x 8-inch greased pan.
(I had to use a pan much smaller than this size.)
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes. Cut into squares while warm and roll in powdered sugar.
I put maple icing and walnuts on mine on top.
Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix flour and granulated sugar in bowl. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Press into bottom of greased 9-inch square baking pan.
Bake 15 minutes or until very lightly browned.
Beat egg, brown sugar, syrup, melted butter and vanilla in bowl until well blended.
Stir in nuts.
Spread evenly over warm crust.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until topping is firm around edges and slightly soft in center. Cool in pan.
Cut into bars.
If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Combine flour and 2 tbsp brown sugar; cut in butter until coarse crumbs.
Press into an ungreased 9x9 or 11x7 bar pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Beat eggs with 1/2 cup brown sugar, add the nuts, syrup, melted butter and vanilla. Pour over the crust.
Return to the oven for 25 more minutes or until set.
Cool slightly before cutting into bars.
