For cough-- Mix honey, glycerin and lemon juice.
Bottle and cork firmly.
Use as needed.
For Blocked noses-- Place honey in a basin of hot water and inhale fumes after covering your head with a towel over the basin.
For Sore throats-- Let 1 teaspoon of honey melt in the back of the mouth and trickle down the throat.
This will ease inflamed raw tissues.
Chop Onions, put in medium size pan.
Add water and salt cook till onions are clear.
drain onions thru sieve or cheesecloth to catch pieces, Put liquid back in pan add honey, cook 10 minutes to combine.
Store in Jar, refrigerate in summer.
Take 1 TBP for sore throat or cough.
Dissolve honey in water.
Add vinegar.
Good for sore throat due to coughing, due to colds, etc.
Peel the garlic cloves and put them in a medium-size jar; add honey to just cover the garlic and then set it on a sunny windowsill until the garlic has turned partly opaque and the honey tastes strongly of garlic.
Take a teaspoon every few hours or whenever necessary to relieve cough, sore throat, etc.
This is good a a preventitive too when everyone around you is sick!
In a bowl, soak the corriander seeds in water, overnight, and keep aside.
The next morning, discard the corriander seeds.
Use the water to guargle. Let it reach well inside your throat and after guargling with it, throw it out of your mouth.
Do this as soon as you wake up, before brushing your teeth.
Within a few hours, you will feel much better than what any allopathic tablets would have made you feel.

In a small saucepan, warm the Poire William and the brandy very gently over low heat.
Transfer to two large warmed balloon glasses.
Dissolve sugar in the hot coffee and pour into the liqueurs, stirring to combine.
Float the cream over the top of each toddy; garnish with a slice of fresh pear.
Do not stir - just sip and savor!
Add all ingredients to a hot toddy mug and stir.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a lemon curl.

Place the whisky - Honey - Tea bag(s):
in a large microwave safe mug with 1 cup of Very Hot water.
NOTE: microwave if it's not hot enough, place in the microwave for 1 minute or until it is piping hot, but not boiling.
Add the honey.
Pour the hot water into the mug over the spoon you used for the honey to get off the last little drops.
Add the lemon juice and stir well.
Add the lemon slice and serve.
Put 6 oz. water and tea bag in a microwave safe cup in microwave until hot and let it steep for a few minutes.
Remove tea bag. Pour in honey, wiskey and lemon juice.
Stir and add sugar if needed.
Sip away and feel better!

Heat the oil in a large saucepan and cook the onion and garlic over low heat for 6-7 mins until softened. Add the rice mix and cook, stirring for 1 min. Pour in the wine and simmer for a few mins then gradually add the stock, about 1 ladleful at a time. Allow the liquid to be absorbed by the rice before adding the next ladleful. This will take about 35 mins.
Stir in the butter and Parmesan cheese and season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve in warm, shallow bowls.
In a saucepan heat cider and cranberry juice cocktail just until hot (do not let boil) and remove from heat.
Stir in tequila and liqueur.
Serve toddies in mugs, garnished with lime slices.
Makes about 6 cups.
Note: To spice up a little: add cinnamon sticks, a little cloves, allspice and nutmeg.
You can garnish with the above listed lime slices or also add orange slices.

Preheat an Irish coffee glass with 3/4 cup hot water, then discard.
