Hot Toddy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. sugar syrup
    1 stick cinnamon
    1 jigger whiskey, rum or brandy
    very hot water
    1/2 lemon slice
    3 cloves
Preparation
    In an 8-ounce mug, place sugar syrup, cinnamon and your choice of whiskey, rum or brandy.
    Fill mug with hot water.
    Impale over edge of mug the lemon slice, studded with cloves.
