Preheat the broiler.
Slit dates. Place one almond inside each date. Wrap dates with bacon, using toothpicks to hold them together.
Broil 10 minutes, or until bacon is evenly brown and crisp.
Put one or two almonds inside date and wrap with 1/2 slice of bacon.
May need to use toothpick.
I used a deep fryer at 350\u00b0 and fried them for a couple minutes.
You could also pan fry (or Wok) until bacon cooked.
Some have tried baking at 425\u00b0 until bacon cooked - but this method takes longer and bacon not cooked as evenly.
For the date filling, combine dates, water, and
ray.
To make the date jam, bring dates, sugar and

Pour the tahini on a serving platter.
Drizzle or pour date syrup in circles and swirl with the edge of a spoon to make a pretty pattern.
Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan and sprinkle over top (this is what warms it up slightly).
Sprinkle on ground cinnamon and serve immediately with sliced apples and pita wedges to dip.

Cut into bars.

Add the olive
Date Filling: Mix 3 cups chopped
/4 cup of the date filling evenly into each hollow
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Blend date filling and water.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add dry ingredients alternately with date mixture to butter mixture.
Beat 1 minute.
Add nuts.
Pour into 2 prepared 9-inch pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
