To make Simple Oatmeal Cookies: Mix the flour, baking soda

Let cool, then peel off.
These cookies spread out 12 on a sheet.
They are very thin and crisp.

Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes for crispy cookies, 5 to 7 minutes for chewy cookies.
Mix margarine and sugars together; stir in eggs, then vanilla. Combine flour, salt and baking soda together; mix in oatmeal and chocolate chips.

Form dough in log rolls, 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Wrap logs in waxed paper, aluminum foil, or clear wrap, put in freezer until almost frozen.
With knife slice cookies about 1/4 inch thick. Bake on un-greased cookie sheet at 300\u00b0F until golden brown. (The slow baking makes a crispy cookie). Enjoy.
