Brown hamburger and bacon.

Remove cover for a while so it can thicken up some, 1/2 hour or longer.
Drain all beans.

Combine remaining ingredients in 3-quart casserole, stir in meat, cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until bubbly.
Garnish with bacon if you wish.

Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes, or simmer in crock-pot.

Save bean liquid and use if necessary as beans bake.
